Business Process Owner Sales & Operations
We are seeking a dynamic professional to oversee and enhance the full lifecycle of Business Process Management (BPM) for our Sales and Supply Chain teams. In this role, you will monitor performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure processes deliver on efficiency and effectiveness targets. Key responsibilities include reviewing, designing, and implementing process and system improvements, facilitating staff training. This position reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end business processes “Market-to-Order “, "Order-to-Cash", Transport Management and Warehouse Operations
- Drive an agenda of continuous improvement for the assigned business area, assessing the quality of the process design on a regular basis and collecting feedback from the business
- Establish overviews of the process maturity level and related process improvements (“roadmap”) in close alignment with the different Business Managers and Supply Chain Manager and keep all stakeholders updated on progress on a regular basis
- Analyse and drive new business demand and changes into concrete business requirements with the business and IT
- Coordinate the cross-functional alignments who are part of the B2B process flow (re)design and IT. Act as the lead to make necessary alignments happen and ensure efficient meetings (fit for purpose)
- Write business process design documents starting with the description of the business requirements incorporating the input from IT and keep process design decision papers up-to-date and ensure that the final decision is well documented including the reasons leading to this decision
- Provide status summaries on a regular basis (improvement & change list, status of the related solutions and what is needed to finalize the solution, risk & opportunities)
- Contribute to the design of the (new) Sales & Supply Chain related (sub) processes
- Together with departments heads keep the process documentation (SOP’s policies, work-instructions etc.) up to date
- Motivate stakeholders, negotiate appropriately, and coordinate efforts across multiple departments
- Act as the go-to person for the local IT design manager
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business economics or comparable
- At least 5 years’ experience and expertise in all areas of Sales (order fulfilment) and Supply Chain (Transport management and warehouse operations)
- Speaking/reading/writing fluent English and at least one other European language, and preferably 1 or more other European Language
- Strong knowledge and expertise of order fulfilment process designs, including transport management and warehouse operations
- Excellent communication skills, strong moderation and modelling skills
- Strong sense and experience in change management
- Excellent knowledge of the core business processes domain and business process design discipline
- Expert knowledge in process blueprints for ERP
- Certified Lean green belt (or higher) and demonstrable experience in driving process improvements using the lean methodology
- Experience conducting business workshops and training sessions
- Relevant experience in an international environment, multiple geography and multicultural
- Strong written, oral and presentation skills
- You enjoy driving decisions with various stakeholders
