Planning Executive
Reporting to the Team Lead, this role is responsible for ensuring the right inventory levels to meet sales demand, in line with agreed service levels and at optimal cost. This includes the efficient and timely delivery of products and feedstocks from Wilmar Singapore, as well as creating master production schedules for our production and tolling sites.
Main responsibilities:
- Create and maintain the inbound supply plan (wish list) for our imported products (including feedstocks for our production/tolling sites), considering right inventory levels, available vessel capacities, and customer service levels.
- Manage inventory levels of products, considering agreed storage capacity and customer service levels.
- Create and maintain the master production schedule for our production and tolling sites, considering the right inventory levels, available production capacities, and customer service levels.
- Manage production and inventory administration for our tolling sites, including monthly stock reconciliation and invoice verification.
- Prepare and execute weekly Sales and Operation Execution meetings to achieve alignment on balancing supply and demand between product management and supply chain.
- Manage the allocation process and escalate demand issues
- Work closely with other Wilmar departments to ensure the smooth operation of the supply chain processes.
- Enter and follow up complaint/non-conformities and provide corrective and preventive action on NCIP tool.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Supply Chain/Logistics Management or similar.
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Speaking/reading/writing fluent English and preferably Dutch.
- Experienced in materials management activities.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Experience with advanced planning tools, such as Anaplan is preferred.
- Experience of working in an international environment and in a production/trading company.
- Knowledge & affinity for planning & forecasting of bulk products for production and commercial purposes.
- Knowledge of specific contract terms for Oleochemicals (FOSFA & NOFOTA) has a preference
