Due to the expansion of our activities, we are currently looking for a self-starting and hands-on: Paralegal (Part-time 24 hours)

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the legal department on a broad range of day-to-day legal matters. This part-time role is a great opportunity for the right person to develop a wide range of legal skills and experience. This position is based at our head office in Rotterdam and reports to the Legal Counsel.

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage company information, including lists of directorships, authorizations, biodata, structure charts, registrations with the Chamber of Commerce
  • Draft/read/correct standard legal documents
  • Assist in all matters of corporate housekeeping and general compliance
  • Respond to information requests from third parties (banks and authorities, including KYC)
  • Manage/request e-Herkenning
  • Monitor and ensure contracts are signed by relevant parties
  • Coordinate and track (legal) deadlines
  • General recordkeeping for corporate legal matters, maintenance of physical and digital archives 
  • Manage insurance contracts and any reporting to the respective authorities which requires a standardised approach
  • Assist in other administrative tasks as and when needed

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • MBO/HBO Paralegal qualification (Bachelor of Law preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
  • Speaking/reading/writing fluent English and Dutch
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-directed, diligent, and motivated
  • Strong organisational skills with positive professional demeanour
  • Flexibility and attention to detail are essential
